New Super-Earth found in our Back Yard

Ok, so we have got one more. In our backyard from cosmic distance point of view.

We are talking about a planet orbiting red dwarf star GJ 740.

Red dwarf stars have a mass of 0.10 to 0.50 of that of our Sun, and a temperature between 2400 and 3700 Kelvin.

It is a super-earth, because it is in the Goldi-Locks zone, and has a mass of about 3 times that of Earth, and an orbital period of 3 Years.

This discovery was recently published in the journal Astronomy and Astrophysics.

Proof of 11 dimensions .. wait is almost over

We observe 3 dimensions on everyday basis: Height, Width and Depth. Time is considered to be the fourth dimension.

That’s not all. According to M-theory, there are 11 dimensions in space-time. We are not able to observe those extra dimensions, but those extra dimensions play an important role in unifying the theory of relativity and quantum mechanics.

Scientists believe that M-theory, or String theory, is the brightest chance for us to unify these theories.

Last years, the aLIGO detectors provided proof of gravitational waves. Why was it extremely difficult to detect such a basic thing as gravitational waves? It is because gravity is the weakest force of all.

Now scientists believe that could be due to extra dimensions. All other forces like electromagnetic, nuclear, etc are observed in the dimensions we know.

aLIGO is due to get an upgrade in form of additional machines, by late 2018 or early 2019. Then, it will be easier to detect the pattern of gravitational waves. It could even be possible to measure the wave activity absent from our known dimensions.

Gravitational waves have just started unraveling tip of the iceberg of the cosmic secrets. Hold your breath! You are living in exciting times!

Aliens are coming soon!

Humanity has been able to propose many hypothesis on creation of life on our planet. Majority of scientists agree that the origin of life took place millions of years ago, and since then we have been evolving from amoeba to humans. It is this knowledge that compels us to wonder why such a process could not have happened on a place which is not of Earth.

Probability of existence of Aliens

There are nine planets in our solar system, around our “Sun”, a G2V star. Then there are billions of stars in our galaxy. Until recently, we knew the number of stars in a galaxy to be around 100 billion. As on date, the number is proven to be 200 billion. Then we have 10 trillion galaxies in observable universe. If we assume an average of 5 planets around each of these stars, and even 10% of the stars in “habitable zone”, or “goldilocks zone”, we have 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 planets in our observable universe which could be in Habitable Zone. Do you think that’s a huge number? Yes it is.

Even if we assume there is 0.0000000001% probability of life on any of those Habitable planets, total number of planets favorable to life is a staggering 1,00,000,000,000,000 or around 10 thousand billion planets could have life.

So it means life exists in abundance in our Universe. Not only it is a possibility, it is almost a surety.

Whom do we really call “Aliens”

Any living entity who has originated out of the planet “Earth” is an alien. Whether it is microbes on Europa or a super intelligent species from some other galaxy, each of them are “Aliens”.

To understand who are aliens, watch the following movie, called “Alien Planet – Darwin IV”.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mS3mbKvSVDI

Every living entity shown in this movie is an Alien, whether a monster sucking plant or giant monsters themselves.

Why should we care?

So given the fact that Aliens do exist, should we really care about them? I think we should because of the simple reason that they could be far more advanced and powerful civilization than we are. If they come to know about us, it could be catastrophic for us if they despise us. On the other hand, humanity will do itself a hell lot of good if we can benefit from their technology and civilization. It will be a giant leap for humankind in area of science.

Many believe the contact has already happened some decades ago in Rosewell in United States. Since the event in Rosewell, science on our planet has made great progress, especially in areas of space and defense sectors. It is possible that some countries on earth developed sophisticated technology by virtue of reverse engineering on the crashed spaceship in Rosewell.

When would we encounter Aliens?

According to most renowned cosmologists and physicist, we will encounter an Alien life before the year 2025. That is within 10 years from today. So we are living in quite phenomenal times, as we will be witness to the most extraordinary event in history of human beings. Although the alien life itself could be a microbe or a fungus, yet the importance of the event will lie in getting proof of the fact that life outside of Earth is quite normal, and there are a large number of far advanced civilizations than human beings.

Are Aliens already on Earth?

There are evidences to show that humans are Aliens. It means that we are not a result of evolution of life. Some external life has sown seeds of intelligent life on Earth. Read some more of this interesting concept here. There are also reports of Alien sightings here on earth itself, where people have seen advanced civilizations interacting with humans in limited capacity. Some image grabs from those incidents, which I believe are very credible, are given below.

Are we living in a Matrix?

Is this world real? Are we really living beings? Is there a master of the universe? Are we being watched? Is this world just a multiplayer game? These questions may seem perplexing. However today we have more evidence than ever to prove the world in which we live may not be real after all. There are many reasons to believe this. Today we explore those reasons.

1. Holographic Principle

The holographic principle is a deduction from String theory, or as some people call it, the M theory. It states that the universe is a game being played in lower dimensional space, whereas the reality has many more dimensions. It is very much like a Hologram which gives impression of 3 dimensions, actually being limited to 2 dimensions. This theory gives strength to the view that this world is not what we perceive, and the reality is something very different, which we can not even imagine. All of this is not just hypothesis. At the start of 2017, scientists almost have a proof that Hologram is real.

2. Game of Life by John Conway

John Conway devised a very simple and unsuspecting game, called the “Game of Life”. This game consisted of a maze and some squares, which can move in one direction at a time. See details of this on following video:

An astonishing facts proven by this game is that by simple rules on a checkered board, movements of blocks create and destroy complex organisms very much in tune with the theory of evolution of life. In a way, the “Game of Life” gives rise to near-living organisms. These organisms live in their own universe, living and giving birth to the new ones, and interacting with one-another like living entities. If we call them a part of game, why we can’t be part of a more complex game?

3. Evolution of Science and computers

It may sound odd, but the hypothesis that we might be living in a matrix, is emboldened by progression in area of computer science. Today we are developing computer games, which are so complex and so life-like, that some day it would be difficult to differentiate world of computer games or virtual reality with the real world. If science in our times, in just a few hundred years, has been able to create such games, why should it not be possible for a much evolved species to create a game having humanity as players, or even merely as good as insects? If you think this is just speculative fantasy, just think what it means when it comes from none other than Elon Musk? See following video to hear what he says:

4. Religion & Beliefs

This question is as well discussed in science world as in our religious texts. Sacred texts of all religions have emphasized that this material world isĀ  just an illusion. If we take it literally, it means a very startling possibility is staring at us. When sacred texts tell us this world is unreal and reality lies with Him, the God, it may very well mean they refer to a master of the universe. He may not be God but an Alien controlling our universe.

What happens when you enter a Black Hole?

Black holes are fascinating objects. Right from coining of the term “Black Hole” in year 1971 and discovery of the first one in year 1976, Black Holes have been the most curious objects scientists ever analysed in our Cosmos.
We often hear that black holes have very strong gravity and nothing can escape them, not even light. So anything that a Black Hole gobbles up it gone for good.

So anything that a Black Hole gobbles up is gone for good.

Scientists have also been mooting possible outcomes of entry into Black Hole. Since we have not directly seen a Black Hole yet (Indirect observations have been made for many Black Holes), it is not possible to know what happens to the matter that enters a Black Hole.

An interesting question arises here: What if one of us tries to enter a Black Hole? Although practically almost impossible, this in itself gives rise to interesting possibilities!

Scientists have proposed some hypothesis over this.

1. Black Hole tears everything apart and eats it up

black hole

Due to huge gravity, any object coming near a black hole is torn apart to pieces. So if you dare to go near a black hole, you will be sucked dead before you realise something happened.

2. Black hole stores all matter’s information on its even horizon

This is an interesting hypothesis. IN August 2015, world’s most renowned space scientist and physicist Stephen Hawking proposed that “The information is stored not in the interior of the black hole as one might expect, but on its boundary, the event horizon“.

So if you are lucky enough to reach near a black hole, your existence will be lost and your information will be stored on event Horizon.

3. Other side of Black Hole – A White Hole

According to this theory, the other end of a Black Hole is a White Hole. This White Hole gives birth to a new universe, where it spits out all matter sucked from parent universe. It means even if dead, you will enter a new universe if you enter a Black Hole.

4. A Fascinating world

If you have watched Christopher Nolan directed feature film “Interstellar”, you are familiar with this. This theory suggests that you can very well enter a Black Hole, if you have a durable protective shield. Once inside, you may find strange things like intermingling of dimensions, where you are able to interact with five dimensions at the same time.

So, looking at these hypothesis, one thing looks certain: You will probably not live to tell what happens inside a black hole. Hold on. Did you say it is still worth giving a try?
