ISRO just launched its latest earth observation satellite (EOS-01) along with 9 other customer satellites, using PSLV-C49 rocket.
EOS-01 is an advanced earth-imaging and observation satellite. The mentioned usage is for forestry and agriculture, however, it is seen as an important tool for keeping a watch on enemy states as well.
